Beginning Of The End ...
Yesterday I finished two classes. (By finished, I mean actually attended class for the last time. If I did nothing else at this point, however, I would fail. I have yet to actually do anything that warrants a grade. Just a minor detail.) No more Prof. M and S. This semester has flown by. I cannot believe finals loom just days ahead. (My way of saying that I will be neglecting my blog for ... a while. After finals I will be home for a bit, then starting my internship, which I am sorry to say I cannot post about ... which probably means this blog will be dull all summer long. But, I am willing to be responsible for a dull blog in exchange for ... my dream internship. Hooray!) So, until I post again ... wish me luck ...
P.S. I promise, I will tone down the ellipses when writing my finals.

A Compromise ...
It turns out that making outlines out of an entire semester's worth of professorial chattering can be really long and tedious. So, in an attempt at actually forcing myself to do this unpleasant task, I compromised with myself. I get to turn a movie on (in the background, of course) while I sit on my sofa for hours at a time. And type. And type. And type. And, in an effort to keep learning even during the parts where I find myself looking at the television screen instead of the computer screen, I am choosing movies with themes to match the subject. First up, Constitutional Law (which I like, for the record). So, naturally, I watched the West Wing. Next, Property. So I am watching Pride and Prejudice. (Because quite a lot of law comes from England, and hello, Pride and Prejudice is all about owning enough land, right ...)

Spring Cleaning ...
On Saturday after I survived my oral argument (SO glad to be finished with that, hooray) and my Friday night emotional meltdown (thank you M., for listening and thank you McDonald's in the strange underground Metro mall, for having the only Shamrock Shakes in town) I decided to avoid anything law-related. So I cleaned out my closet. And when I say cleaned out, I mean not only pulled the summer clothes out from under the bed, but that I retired some of the old clothes you have all seen for way too many years. (I can hear the cheers all the way from home ... sorry, but I kept the striped shirt. I will NEVER throw that away, so stop hoping.) One now-discarded but still-beloved article of clothing deserves a mention here, though: The David Osmond Sweater. Yes. I have a name for it. I have had this lovely red Calvin Klein turtleneck sweater for a decade, and I know this because I wore it to interview (and fall madly in love with, as only a just-turned 16-year-old can) said Osmond. I really debated about eliminating it from my wardrobe, as I could still technically wear it, but really, I think it might be a bit out of style, fond memories notwithstanding ...
