President of 9/12 ...

I like this column in the NYT. I do not agree with all of it, but I do agree with the sentiment of Thomas Friedman's conclusion: "We need a president who will unite us around a common purpose, not a common enemy. Al Qaeda is about 9/11. We are about 9/12, we are about the Fourth of July — which is why I hope that anyone who runs on the 9/11 platform gets trounced."

Callie! Thank you for bringing something other than nineteenth century gender politics into my day. I really think Friedman has a lot on the ball. Would you ever consider writing your own syndicated column? I hope your week is great!

That is a great article. I see you writing something like that WHILE of course speech writing for your favorite republican candidate. And to Elisabeth: lets start our pop culture papers and no more feminist politics. Cal you should write a paper too and then we can all go to the conference in San Fran!
